Our mission is to help provide local families with the support that Clearview and local communities provided us during our family's journey with cancer and give them a POSITIVE VIEW!
In September of 2022, our family was deeply affected by cancer. Our mother, Moe, and Jen, the mother of our three children, both faced this disease head-on. Seeing cancer up close showed us just how much it can shake up a family. Sadly, Moe lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in September 2022. Only a week later, Jen began her own fight against breast cancer. Despite the challenges, both women shared one important trait... they both kept a positive VIEW! We want to help provide that Positive View to others, no matter what they are facing, by giving moments of delight!
Cancer can have a profound impact on one's daily life, regardless of the circumstances. During our own journey, we experienced the challenges of managing doctor's appointments and treatments while also trying to maintain a sense of normalcy for our children. However, the support of our family, friends, and local community helped us navigate the chaos and provided much-needed assistance. We realized firsthand how critical this support was for us and how it can make a difference in the journey, even if we didn't initially recognize the need for it. That's why we want to be there for other families in our community who are also battling cancer. We want to help them take care of some of the everyday tasks, so they can focus on their personal health, family, and recovery.
Having a positive View and attitude has been half the battle through our journey. We realized the support of our family, friends, and local community was such a driving force in getting through each step. Even the smallest gestures added up and made a big impact, whether it was a text, card, meal, or phone call.
Throughout the journey, we have received an outpouring of support in various forms. This incredible community has been a pillar of strength, providing a source of comfort and positivity during a challenging time despite the difficulties. Now we want to be sure we can provide that for others in our community!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission to help other members of our local community with moments of delight as they continue their journey. If you know a local member of our community battling cancer, please nominate them below and donate to our Go Fund Me to help them!
Our first event was an awesome tailgate experience for the first Premier League match of the Summer Series at the Linc. Thanks to everyone who joined us, we were able to raise over $1,000 for our first event. All proceeds will be used to help support local families who are going through their own battle with cancer. The trip included transportation to and from the game, and a 2+ hr tailgate before the game filled with fun, food, tailgate games, and plenty of drinks for kids and adults!
Big thanks to DJP aka Patrick Whipkey for providing the tunes, along with TimTaggart, Colleen Lynch, and Troy Ferri for setting up the tailgate festivities in the parking lot!
Harrison Twp SC/View on Cancer soccer scarves are in for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. All proceeds will go to help local families going through their cancer battle. We have limited inventory still available. Thank you for your support.
